Connect temperature sensor with Heat Controller

Pietgeeroms

Question

Hello

I have following issue: my heat controller is installed in a seperate room (on the collector) and the bluetooth controller has not enough reach.

The temperature sensor of the smoke detector is set as main buth the heat controller does not regulate according this temperature but uses its own internal sensor as reference (the storage room temperature).

Is there an easy way if regulating this? I tried thermostat plugin but did not succeed.

Would a seperate thermostat do the job? It's for childrens bedroom so the simpelest will do. Anyone can recommand a type?

Thanks!

Thermostat with bluetooth? strange. IMHO you wrong and this is IR. Ok drop it (because you asking now about z-wave. I for example on your site I will connect and zwave dives with IR. Or use Broadlink mini) ok. About what your question

IMHO you can’t use this device as thermostat with FIBARO. You use separate on/off functionality of thermostat with device temperature

1st your should disconnect this thermostat from Fibaro heat panel cuz.

write VD or scene what check periodically temperature in child room and turn on or off thermostat

for example google by this forum “heater override”

this VD can use default temp sensor (as u wish) and can turn on or off heater

one notice here as far as I remember this VD use really so you should patch code and send command to thermostat with turning on heating or off instead of turnon turnoff command as relay

IMHO

  • Hi,

Sorry for the confusion. I ment the FGBRS-001 temperature sensor, i thought it worked with bluetooth. Buth the distance between the sensor and the FGT-001 is too large.

    I'l try out your suggestion.

    Thanks

I'm trying to do the same thing, I have one thermometer and one on/off switch, and would like to control the on/off switch according to the given temperatur.
Any good ideas how to, easily using blocks ? :-)
