FGDW-002 Door Sensor 2 battery drain

Rajstopy

Question

Dear all,

I've bought a dozen of Door Sensor 2 that I plan to install in my house. So far I installed only 5 sensors for test, but after 2 weeks, for 3 of them, battery status shows already 30 % !!! So I did a factory reset and battery status show now 100% again... I spent a lot of time because so far the sensor is pasted, it is really difficult to get it removed, and no way to get the sensor securely included without bringing it near the Z-Wave dongle.

I'm really fed up with Fibaro's products, because I also have some issues with a FGMS-001 Motion Sensor which remains stuck at detection state from time to time. But anyway, going back to my previous issue, is there anything to do with those door sensors ? I'm now very reluctant with installing them definitely. This is really not serious, I just ask how such products can be sold, seems not having being tested at all...

Cheers,

Raj.

I had a simular problem with smoke sensor.

If you add it must be door/window sensor and not something els what you change later.

Succes

I have the same problem.
In 4 days, the state of the battery went down to 0%. I took it out and the instrument shows a voltage of 3.6 V. So something is wrong with the stuff.
In addition, I also had problems with two relays. I will no longer buy Fibaro.
