RGBW Controller 2 using 2 white led stripes

D4RK1

Question

Hi,

I just installed an RGBW 2 Controller. Two white stripes are connected to the "R" channel and the "G" Channel. Using the HC2s Interface I can turn both stripes on and off independently by using the sliders for Red and Green. So far, so good.

Now I would like to use them in a scene. For starters, I created a scene using a Motion Sensor as triggering device

Motion == Breached

Then

Light = Turn On

And

Light = Set G 255

If I preset the G value to 255 in the interface and simply use the "Turn On" function, it works. But since I would like to switch both strips independently, this won´t work for me.

The "Turn On" part is working, I can see it turning on in the Interface and then turning off, after the "breach" has worn off. So the problem seems to be with the "Set G" part.

Can someone help me out?

Regards, D4RK1

  • Hi,

    not sure if it is "The" solution, but it seems the "Set R" (G,B,W) function is doing something different or I am using it the wrong way...

    I changed the "Light = Set G 255" to "Set color R:0 G:255 B:0 W:0" and now it is working.

    Maybe someone finds this who is struggling with the same problem.

    Best Regards, D4RK1
