Trigger a scene by an external HTTP command

HansL

Question

I have a sliding gate, which can send http commands when its state is opened or closed.

Is it possible, that the HC2 can receive such a command, so that I can trigger for example a scene?

Your gate has to do a html call like this:

Please login or register to see this link.

where

xxx = IP of your HC2
yy = ID of the scene you want to trigger
zzz = username and password of a user of the HC2 with rights to this scene (make a special user with only one right)
www = type of event that you want to trigger

Hope this works for you too
