Smart Implant and Universal Binary Sensor

storskogen

Question

Hello

I can´t include my new Smart Implant and started to think that i can´t use both Smart Implant and Universal Binary Sensor at the same time?

I already have the UBS included and working in my system.

Power to the SI is 12v, Red LED on power up then nothing when pushing the Button, tried slow and crazy fast, nothing...

HC v4.570

How much mA?

if the power suply can not deliver enough Amp's it will not work properly.

1,5A can't find any spec on powerconsumption?

Manuals only spec how much the outputs can handle.

  • Got it included now, I have tried more than 10 times before, fast, slow, cycling of inputs, moving the antenna... I decided to try once more and all the sudden it got included at once. Clicked 3 times with B at a rate of 1 click per second.

I will hook up my Fluke and measure the consumption some day, just to check, it cant be more than 500mA.

Correct, if you have a power supply of1.5A is sufficient.

There are powersupply of 200mA , they can give some trouble's.

Nice that you have managed to include.

    Hi there
@Bodyart as I can read you have no problems with the "Smart Implant" on the HC3.
I've been tinkering with it for a few hours and I have some problems with it.
    What works first.
    Thermal inputs 4 x DS18S20 = OK
    Outputs = OK
What I didn't get to run are
    Digital inputs = no
    Analog = no
End coupling of the inputs from the outputs = no
Do I have a defective device or am I just acting stupid?
My 2 "binary universal" run as stated in the manual.
Everything I've read so far related to HC2 because it seems to be running. You are the first one I found who says the HC3 is running.

    Hi @FBerges,

After the transfer from a HCL to the HC3, the smart implants (3x) and the Heat controllers (6x) acted weired.

So I excluded and reincluded them.

    Now they working fine.

Only some strange things with two Aeotec multsensor 6.

The 2 UBS devices and the rest didn't have any problems.

    About 60 devices

    Hi @Flash

My 84 sensors and actuators are also running. I have converted from homee to HC3.
I installed sensors / actuators from Philio, Devolo, Danfoss, CAM, Qubino, Fireangel and Fibaro.
I only have problems with the Smart Implant.
As written thermo and outputs work.
But I also need the inputs and the end coupling of the inputs from the outputs that does not work.
    How about you ?
What do you use with the Smart Implant?
    Greetings from the neighboring country

    Hello neighbour

I use some only the output.

One of them I use the input for create smart doorbel. ( doorbel pusher connected to input)

the other Input I connected to a switch mounted in the locking mechanism in the door. So  can see if its locked.

Do not use the analog/thermo input.

    Hi there

I just got a new "smart implant".

    See there it works.

    What's going on !
The inputs can be switched to bistable, monostable and analog
    Analoginput tested 0-10V OK.
From 11.00V they remain on 0.00V in the desktop display (overload).
Each input can be set separately.
If the inputs are set to analog, they can be decoupled from the outputs.
I didn't get it digitally, but I probably didn't want it yet.
The thermal function with 4 x DS18B20 is OK
I don't have another sensor to test.
    The outputs also work.
    Inputs 1 <-> 2 and outputs 1 <-> 2 can be interchanged.
    That's the most important thing.
All other functions are time consuming.
But I suspect that the controller (HC3) has fully implemented the part. : yum:
So now I will first send the defects on the return trip.
Something like this takes time if you are not sure that the controller supports the part.
I am a burnt child in the relationship and that is why I switched to HC3.
