HC3 not finding any devices

OrganicWaste

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a new built home with a lot of dimmer 2's behind our switches, a few Philips Hue lights and a Forest shuttle (Z-wave) for our blinds. I've just installed the HC3 and put it in our living room, close to most devices. Unfortunately I can't seem to find any devices. They haven't been paired up with a controller so far. Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I need help.

I used the manual in getting the devices added: Settings, devices, add device (+), and tried the different options in the learning mode. Result stays the same "no devices found".

What am I doing wrong?

You need to set the z-wave device in paring mode. See manual for your devices.

Edit

The hue will not work at this time it's not implement yet.

  • Thanks for the help :). Complete noob here... !

Setting the devices to pairing mode worked. Got the lights, blinds and screen working.

Hope hue will come soon. In the meantime I'll start making scenes

    Thanks!

  • Thanks for the input. I tried adding the Hue system like you said. I press the button on the bridge, but after pressing "create user" (within 30 sec) he doesn't seem to find anything.

Tried searching on IP of the bridge as well, but no results.

  • @shirlzz: I did solve the problem. It was very basic.  As i recall I didn't have to press search to come up with a device, but add the IP adress and then press 'create user'.
