Walli Dimmer brightness go down automaticly

pirotadam

Question

Hello,

I have got 1 Walli Dimmer (FGWDEU-111 firmware v5.1) with 3-wire connection and a Home Center 3 (v5.020.60).

This Walli Dimmer manage 5 IKEA Tradfri E27 806 lumen 8.9 Watt led bulbs. After mains voltage drop problem, I changed the minimum and maximum brightness level from 1 - 99% to 5 - 50 %. This resolved mains voltage drop problem.

My additional problem with this dimmer is that on my iPhone (Fibaro Home Center app v1.6) I set dimmer to 20%, after a while the brightness is go to down to zero, there is dark in the room, and the dimmers led ring is white, so the power is ON.

Can somebody say, which parameter can I modify to the 20% dimmer brigtness parameter work properly?

I dont use Fibaro Bypass2 yet!

I havent got Tradfri gateway, and I dont use the ZigBee protocol.

Is it this one?

If yes, it does not matter if you don't use Tradfri gateway or other ZigBee device to control it. Blub itself is dimmer and not "stupid" LED bulb. You cannot dimm dimmer with dimmer.

Are those the lights, that should connect to Trafri gateway via ZigBee?

From what you shared it sems to be it and correct me please if i'm wrong. Connecting Dimmers to Dimmer is not a good sign and it would never work correctly. I have tested that once.

Try to set parameter 177 to 0 and check it out.

I don't think parameter 177 helps in this case.

  • Dear @jakub.jezek,

The IKEA Tradfri led bulb is in the lapm socket. This led is dimmerable. I havent got Tradfri gateway, and I dont use the ZigBee protocol.

The 5 lamp socket is in 1 round and I controlled with Walli Dimmer (and I use z-wave with HC3).

  • Yes, this is my IKEA led. Can you suggest me led for this Walli Dimmer? If you can find from IKEA it is the best.

    Thanks your helpful answers!
