Lux in a scen

Guest Freddan67

Question

Guest Freddan67

Doesn't lux work in a scene? I have a motion sensor that I want to light lights in a room about lux <x?. It works if I trigger the scene manually but it does not run automatically

Yes, it works.

Here a simple condition for the scene. (device ID is 25 and Lu value 20)

{

    type = "device",

    id = 25,

    property = "value",

    operator = "<",

    value = 20,

    isTrigger = true

}

Please check if scene (Lua or Block) is on Auto mode.

    Do you get enough updates of the lux value to get this actually working ?

    It is most when we are not home now in the winter and it can get a little dark for the dogs. When I used Homey, it worked fine to light some light via lux for this purpose.
