Delay is back big time

Thomasn

Question

What can I say? The infamous delay is back with scenes starting 30 seconds after being activated. Only thing that helps is to reboot the homecenter once a day.

What is Fibaro doing? I have not changed a single command in my HomeCenter or altered any scenes lately. It is soooo annoying.

Such a delay is usually due to an incorrect scene or VD (own experience).

And look at the memory consumption and see if it increases with time. If it does, then something is wrong.

I agree with that but I'd like to point out that both @Tony270570 and I observed issues with delays and even system freeze, and we would say the issue was possibly introduced with a recent firmware update. It is possible we (both) did something stupid to cause this but nevertheless I'd say we had very stable performance for a very long time and then...

Both large networks, lots of scenes but in my case not many VDs.

I no longer use my HC2, I've moved everything to HC3, so couldn't tell if the issue still exists.

Possibly not excluded from my side :) jokes aside, until now, it never occures again one reboot fixed it, what isn't the case for @Thomasn 's HC as it's needing a dayly reboot to keep safe from delays.

From what he  said, he didn't touch any code, wouldn't it be possible that in his case a device starts tchatting to much?  whitout sniffing the network it will probably be hard investigating this  track i'm afraid.
