cannot activate the end coupling to the outputs ?

Hi there

I have a question about the smart implant.
Is that correct that I cannot activate the end coupling to the outputs in digital mode of IN1 and IN2?
With my HC3 I did not know whether the option was offered.
Greetings from the Sauerland

It should be the same as in HC2. It depends on Smart implant configuration and not controller.

    Hi there
    So far that's right.
I need 2 digital inputs and 2 digital outputs.
However, the outputs should be decoupled from the inputs.
In the HC3 there should be an option that controls this.
I can only get this set if I switch the inputs to analog.
Do you have any idea whether this only works or whether it works the way I would like it to?

You need to see if it possible in Smart Implant configuration.

  • Hi there

I had already checked the documents and it says the following:

    That is what irritates me.
First it works and then again not.
    I understand it as:
It is coupled without any special procedure and if you use a different software address I can end-couple it.
Since there is just such an option in the HC3 and it works with analog, my question was whether it would not work with digital.
I already had a broken SmartImplant, so I'm a little careful with the get or it doesn't work.

    Good Morning
Yes, the problem was done with the update of the HC3.
Now you can separate the outputs from the inputs by setting.

    @FBerges

    Good evening neighbour.

If I understood you correctly you would seperate IN1 and IN2 from the outputs. if not my excuses.

Just added an SI to my HC3. Can use the 2 inputs seperate from the outputs.  Can also switch the outputs by webbrowser or by scene.

Please login or register to see this spoiler.

Hopefullly this helps, if not please ask again.

Have one SI in use with coupled output for my doorbell. And the other input is connected to a switch to check if the door is locked.

I cannot disconnecd the ouputs anymore, without exclusion/inclusion. or maybe hard reconfig, because the sliders to disconnect/connect the outputs are vanished. Think its a feature. ?

  • Good evening

Yes, if the outputs are separated from the inputs, the inputs and the outputs have separate IDs.
This means that they can also be used like all other IDs.
Try it out it works fine.

Greetings to the neighboring country stay healthy!
    Frank

    PS.

This is exactly how it works with the FGS-224!

    Hello,

    Old topic, i know, but:

any idea if i can set this in home assistant? I don't have these parameters shown in HA.

Would it be an option to buy an fibaro home center to configure these and the use in home assistant? Or would the settings not be permanent?

    Any imput would be welcome!

    @daad01

You must adjust parameters 20/21 (IO1/IO2).
If you have a SmartImplant connected to HA, join the HA community. You have to go to the development environment and send special commands to set up SI.
Just a note. Buying a Fibaro controller will not help you in this (unless you plan to switch to Fibaro) :)
Why?.. because adding SI under any other controller will reset it and these settings will be valid for that controller. Adding it again under HA will result in a reset and the need to set parameters 20/21 again.
