QA for Shelly WiFi modules

michal85pl

Question

Hi,

I am not a programmer, but from the resources available on the forum I managed to glue QA to support WiFi Shelly modules (Switch1PM, Shelly2.5, Shelly Plug S). The code is certainly not clean and needs patches, QA sometimes hang and do not update the status icons or power consumption. Additionally, with 20 modules it causes a lot of cpu load. Would anyone experienced be interested in helping to refine the QA before posting it in the forum?

Regards
Michal

Hard to say, your options look totally different.

I don't have "Outgoing Websocket", MQTT and "Range Repeater".

Which Shelly device and which version did it have?

I have a "Shelly Plug S" (firmware 20221027-101131/v1.12.1-ga9117d3).

That could be the reason. I Use "Shelly 1PM", I will now resent the Shellys to amazon because I could not use it with Fibaro HC3 .

If someone has to found a slution to use this Shellys at HC3 please inform me.

Thanks for all.

Did you try to get the informations directly without HC3?

Calling the URL manually? Does it work?

If that's the case it will be pretty easy to modify the QA.

@pmaster

Yes, it is possible.
Connect it through QA.
I made one of these for my own use. It is a kind of Power Sensor (like other devices for measuring consumption).
Unfortunately, 3EM does not provide a cumulative value in Wh/kWh if you require simultaneous history storage on the Shelly cloud. I will periodically read the instantaneous values in W, and HC3 will calculate the aggregated values in kWh.

Does anyone have an updated Shelly QA? I run the one from the first post (or like 12 of them) and has quite a high CPU load.

I tried the one @jgab links to, but I can't get it to run.. Must be doing something wrong with that one.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Thanks a lot in advance.

I'm trying to get a Shelly Plugs S in the QA, but i keep getting this error:

[ERROR] [QUICKAPP681]: in Event({"type":"info"}) => ..: ./include/main.lua:267: attempt to index a nil value

And i simply cannot find what I'm doing wrong..

Anybody able to help?

@AbdalrhmanIf your avatar list is correct, you have a Fibaro Homecenter 2 and a Homecenter Light. The Shelly Quick Apps as mentioned above, are only working with Homecenter 3 and Homecenter 3 Light.
