I need to create scenes for door sensor to switch the AC after keeping door opened for certain time in HC3

Hello friends,

I need to switch the ACs after opening doors for certain time. I'm using AEOTEC Door/Window Sensor for this reason but I don't know how to do in HC3.

 

Please any help

you can do this with scene block if you want... setup delays

 

if house door are OPEN for 5s, hall 1 lights turn ON, after 10s, hall 1 light turn OFF

    actually this method didn't work as I need, it close the ACs even if the door closed before the 20s finished.

    funny, try it this way > both of my scenes work, even if I close or leave the door open…. the right part of the scene is always done !!!

     

     

    Your scene:

    when door is OPEN > with delay of 20s > switch OFF the AC & SHAC,

    I have posted a scene that schedules actions at time - the last example show how to use that to turn off a lamp if a sensor been safe for 5min.

    I believe that this, to test if something been safe for x minutes, should be supported by block scenes but alas it's not ..yet.

    So my solution is a Lua scene - but I tried to make it "easy Lua"...
