request for switch with dual pole same form factor FGS2x2

Dear ,

a switch with dual pole or contacts could become handy , where the contacts disconnect both L AND . Where is this to be used? The disconnection of both L and N is mandatory when switching is done for high humidity environments ( like Bathrooms)  as well a for outdoor appliances.

Why? Standard housing in Belgium ( and other countries?) require Isolation  Fault Protection Devices. Some trigger at 300mA; sensitive ones trigger at 30mA and are mandatory to be used for high humidity rooms ( Batrooms... ) and outdoors. In case there is an isolation fault (water, condensation, human body) on L or N , a Isolation  Fault Protection device will trip.

Using a standard single pole FGS 2X3, only L is disconnected; N remains connected to grid; a fault isolation on N (after the contacts) will trigger the a forementioned Fault Isolation protection device (even when the load is not applied). I have experience ?.

Besides , certification will be withdrawn at moment of inspection.

The workaround is to use a slave relay (DPST or DPDT) in the wall box, using the current FGS as input switch for the relay ; This does not always work ( wall boxes are getting cramped...)

Hence my question for a double pole switch wher relays will disconnect both L and N

Thanks for consideration.

Geert
