Battery drains within 2 weeks

jackberk

Question

I have bought 5 smoke detectors and connected them to my Eneco Toon (Z-Wave).

One of the detectors drains the battery within 2 weeks. It does not matter where I locate the detector. And it's strange that only one does it.

Is there a solution??? Settings???

Maybe it got something wrong when it was included in the network.
Try removing it from the network and then including it again.

  • I've connected it to the network twice.

And changed to new battery 3 times.

You can read also my  post about this subject.

Probally you included the smoke sensor and as default is showed door/window sensor?

In that case I excuded and included till it showed smoke sensor>>>that resolved my battery problem.

    Succes
