Remote vs Local Login

Question

Hi All,

I use my iPhone for local and remote control my HC2, if I am at home and log into the Home Centre app on the iPhone using the local log in the the login process and the app is very quick to start up which is all good though when I leave for work and head outside the house where I have to swap over to 4G I can no longer control my HC2 which I understand due to being still logged in locally and now logout and re login with my Fibaro ID and this works........though the disadvantage of logging in with my Fibaro ID is that when I get home and back on the wifi and I need to start the app up its still using my Fibaro ID and the app takes an excessive time to start up which I assume is because it needs to go out through my crap internet connection and log on and hence the app runs much slower then if I logout out on the iPhone and re log in locally.

Does anybody know of a way around of logging in locally and remotely

Kind regards

BKer

Hi,

To be clear, do you use the old (called Fibaro) or new app (called Home Center)?

And if you are at home, do you only login with the user login and not the Fibaro ID login?

Thanks Kevin & Sjakie,

When I was using the old app I never had this issue and "connect with local network controller" was selected.......so it looks likes Fibaro have introduced this issue with the new version.

Looks like I need to go back to the old version of the app until they fix the issue.

Thanks
