Door sensor Homekit - battery drainage

I have just one Fibaro Homekit Window/Door sensor.

It is installed mid March and I drains battery every 14 days - today end April I am about to replace the 3rd drained battery.

1) Is there a fix for this? I have already done everything in the settings to save energy!

2) Does the sensor consume the same amount of energy in state "Door closed" as in "Door open"? (I use the sensor state for Fibaro programming in Homekit and could potentially reverse the state if needed)

Sorry is this question should have been asked somewhere else - feel free to move it.
