ggoetz56

Question

Hi,

could somebody please explain to me what I get after including Dimmer2?

1 Remotecontrol and 3 switches? Is this correct, and witch one should i use?

What is the purpose of the other devices?

I asked google, youtube and fibaro manual no answer so far. Any link will be appreciated.

Thanx a lot

Gerhard

Yeah, confusing, but after reading this it will  make sense. To begin with, the Dimmer has 2 buttons but one output, so 1 device represents the "real" dimmer and another one represents the "virtual" dimmer corresponding to S2. To understand why you have a "remote" and then yet another dimmer (a duplicate of S1) you'll have to read this:

  • Thanks Peter,

    very helpfully as always ?

But Fibaro it would be also helpfull to give a documentation about this, for every single device, because you can include a device incompletely. I mean you see an icon but the device won't work proper.

After excluding and including you see different devices and it works correct.
