How to debug block scenes?

okidoki

Question

Hi all,

I cannot figure out how to properly debug my block scene. I also played with Lua and here you can call the debug function. But in block scene edit mode I want  to find out:

- if my scene is actually running

- what the values are of the sensors I call

- what are the actual values of variables like sunset or sunrise?

-how to step through the code and inspect variables or values ?

How do i do that? Is it possible überhaupt?

thks!

The only way (that I know) is to convert block scene to LUA and to debug it

Really? That is pretty disappointing.. I was afraid for that answer, but Thank you voor the respond.

I did some tests with sunrise and sunset in my block scenes but they don't act as expected. But I cannot see the value of these

    You can use

    http://<hc3-IP>/api/settings/info

to see sunset and sunrise values

A great! thanks!. that works indeed.

But where can I find this info? It's not in a manual as far as I know? I really could use a few hint how to expand my knowledge on these kind of topics. I read a lot of forum info but its hard to filter.
