Two switch types mixed on one module?

Trikkitt

Question

I'd like to have a toggle switch on S1 (or S2) and the other switch to be a momentary switch.  Is this possible?  Any advice please.

I had a feeling that would be the case.  All of my dimmers only have one switch, this one I need two but can't because they're different.  Very frustrating that it doesn't give this sort of flexibility.  I'll have a play with the three way switch option and see if perhaps that'll work....

Or use 2 switch 2 single switch units

or change you wall switches to push buttons

Sadly that isn't possible in this situation.  The plan was to make everything momentary switches, but on one of these it can't be.  I'll look at other options to make this work.  I do have a few ideas.

  • So the work-around that I've come up with is, use one type of switch on S1 on the dimmer.  Then on another dimmer that uses the other type of switch, program S2 to send commands to the first dimmer.  Not perfect, but seems like it'd be the best solution.
