reset energy Data

Recommended Posts

Hi,

i found @10der advice to reset energy data:

Please login or register to see this link.

But this won't work for me. It is said that this is a statement of a lua script, but i think it is a REST-API command

I want to reset the energy-consumption report of one port of a double switch.

But neither using the reset-button of Clear historical energy data nor the statement above reset the value of "energy" to 0

Could someone help me out?

Thankx

Gerhard

I have a script that deletes this data every month.
There is more info about it somewhere on the forum.

Here is the script from the forum.

  • Thanks @XTeK,

the statement above seems to be the correct one. Don't know why that doesnt work for me.

I will try api.post("/devices/192/action/clearEnergyData") to delete the energy value for that certain device. Will see what happens,

    Thank you 👍
