Sunset and sunrise not robust in HC3?

okidoki

Question

Hi All, I read about a lot of great code to run on the HC2 to make the HC2 run reliable when it comes to timing. I'm not sure if i should port this to my HC3, but i'm afraid its is necessary:

I did some simple tests with block code, to give me a push message at 60 minutes before sunrise. This simple scene runs on my HC3. In 2 weeks, I only received the message once!.

Does this mean that the timing issues of HC2 are also applicable for HC3?

What are your experiences with this?

thks

The problem is the app not hc3. I have run a number of scenes at sunset / dawn and they always run but very rarely do I get a note

Aha, that explains it maybe! I will focus on the scene instead of the push message.

Sunset runs flawless on my HC3, sunrise I don’t use.

Thank you, @SmartHomeEddy I will study my scene results and forget about the push.
