Replacing dumb shutter with Walli Roller Shutter

hnrk

Question

Dear community. I'm switching my dumb roller shutter with a walli. The guide doesn't seem to cover my existing wire layout. How do I connect these?

I'm in Norway, by the way.

top side of your switch:

Brown -> Q1 Walli

Black -> Q2 Walli

Blue -> N Walli

bottom side of your switch

Blue -> N Walli

Brown ->  L Walli

nothing more necessary, you don't need that bridge blue wire from your old switch!

(and let us know if you survived it … )

  • @tinman   Will the out/in buttons switch places if I switch the Q1/Q2 wires?  Currently I'm using this with the Telldus Tellstick ZNet Lite v2 gateway, so I'm not able to configure anything in software.  (I think?  Is there another way without getting the Fibaro gateway?)

    button and output direction are different things

    switching wires is as output direction change via paramaters - it will not change "up" and "i'm in top Position". The Gateway you have is probably one of the worst documumented i think? No idea, i haven't found any real manual, so can't answer if there is a way to change parameters for included devices.

    What might work, is to include to your Gateway z-wave usb stick, as device. Then with help of Silabs PC Controller set (send) the parameters to Fibaro Walli, and when everything fine exclude that z-wave stick from your Gateway.

    My gateway is a standalone device, not an usb stick.  So I don't think that'll work.  Unless I misunderstand what you're saying, which I probably am ?
