    OK i have found the error. When you install QA you have five fields under variables: EMAIL, PASSWORD, OTP, access_token, hardware_id. All five fields filled with a "-". You must fill field EMAIL and PASSWORD, OTP can stay with "-" but the fields "access_token"and "hardware_id" must be delete before you press OTP-token. Now you become a SMS with OTP code. Now delete behind OTP code the "-" and fill with the numbers out from SMS

    good morning...thx, but I had already figured that out. It's the same number as for:

    local groups = {
        ring = {"15011xxxxxx"}, <----------------this ?
        motion = {"3333333333", "4444444444"}

    When i ring the bell, then trigger the scene and send the picture to my telegram onto handy, but when i start scene manual (user) then become i the error:

    [23.01.2021] [10:29:49] [DEBUG] [SCENE273]: sourceTrigger {"type":"user","id":2,"property":"execute"}
    [23.01.2021] [10:29:49] [ERROR] [SCENE273]: /opt/fibaro/lua_engine/lua/lib/json.lua:185: unexpected character '' at line 1 col 1

    but I am very happy that you are trying so hard here and helping everyone so ... thank you

  • QA can send screenshot of ding-dong and motion events as event into HC3 event system.

    if you have experience how to display this PNG file on TV or Google Home - welcome.

    not i can see screenshort / picture on my TV via KODI.

    so when motion occurred or ring button is pressed I can see in the right corner of TV popup pic of event.

    Hi @SvenG.

    As the creator, 10der, no longer has his active profile here (THIS PROFILE DEACTIVATED! ), would you have any details on how you were able to activate this QA?
    I followed what you wrote but despite that nothing happens.

    Thank you

    Hey good news, @10der is there ;-)

    ok, this is what i did, and now the OTP variable is still on "-" however the "hardware_id" variable has a code entered. is it correct ?

    I never received the OTP code

    I created a scene, which works when I test it, but nothing happens when I press the doorbell button. As if nothing was detected. Where is the error?

    Thanks

    ok i understand there is no workaround for this problem.
    I delete this "Quick App" Ring from the HC3.
    and use IFTTT which works great and easily with Ring for me.
    Thank you

    Hi Team

    Great work on this plugin @10der

    I'm still having trouble getting mine to work.

    I've tried the above steps including the 'delete' "access_token"and "hardware_id" variable before running the OTP button. I've tried a bunch of combinations but I consistently get the below "Wrong status '406' in response!

    " error.

    Running on a new HC3 5.070.42.

    Have tested logging into Ring.com via the browser and the OTP works (like a normal use login)

    Any suggestions?

    Many thanks.
