How I can identify a running scene?

jwi

Question

A running scene could be identified easely on HC2, but not on HC3.
On HC2 you can see if a scene is running automatlicly or is set to run manualy.

On HC3 you see in the overview only if the scene is activated. But if the scene

is activated, you cannot identify if is running or not.

In my opinion a green point next the Activation symbol could help to identify a running scene.
Even in the Basic configuration or in lua editor you cant see that.

Or I not to see the wood for the trees. ?

i can see my scene is running if i'm in the  lua editor of that particular scene, the button in the bottom has changed from save&run into Stop..... But that's very minimal. i agree....

If the scene is triggered in Auto mode the buttons remains as "Run action" and "Save". Save&run into Stop... only when you start manually and the scene is in a loop.

    Anyway thank you for answering.

  • These few lines show whether a scene is running or not.
So it would not be difficult for Fibaro to show the running status next to the activation switch.

But that's definitely another priority for Fibaro. ?

I'm too interested in finding a way to check if a certain scene is running at a certain moment, apart from LUA code or checking manually if the conditions are met.

Is there a simple and straight way? ... I'm using a Home Center Lite.

    Thank s
