Yes, Fibaro does not yet support QuickApp display in the current version 1.7.0 for Android.
I work around it by having scenes created by which I call QA (button) functions. I made my own icon for each function.
These icons then appear on the phone as widgets for scenes :)

  • I was afraid it was that simple :(

Can't be anything but dissapointed with the way Fibaro works. They release a new version of anything and you loose functions. Both HC3 and the new app is 5 steps backwards and like it was with HC2 and the old app their customers have to wait, wait, wait and wait for the product to even work as promised, if they ever do... ?

    Ha-Ha...
Again, you can look forward every day to the arrival of something new, better ...

    Edit:
I now need to do a plug-in (QA) for iEast. But I have an opinion that we do not need to have another application identical to the factory on smart devices. I take it that I use only basic functions. It is important that there are all the functions in QA that you can call in scenes and thus integrate with home automation. Therefore, I think that in some cases a graphical QA interface is not required for smart devices.

Well... Been there done that with the HC2. Im not that pleased with paying full price and be a beta tester.

If you don't want a GUI for the QuickApp, don't make any buttons but don't strip the option for us that want it.

For an exampel I now have to login with a Chrome to set my engineheater schedule, if I decide to rewrite my whole VD to a QA ?

No, but i don't understand why?

The VD created for HC2 didn't work either that was on marketplace.

The attached VD worked, but I can't turn it to QA.

Could you have a look at it please?

VirtualDevices are for HC2 only and QuickApps for HC3 only.

I used the HC2 VD on my HC2 (the one I linked to in my QA) but hade to write my own QA when I switched to a HC3.

I had to change a few things to be able to import the VD to the HC2 (you have to change name of the buttons, it is described in the comments how to do that)

    Do you have a HC2 or HC3?

Have you followed the instructions on how to prepare your TV for remote control?

  • I can´t import the VD in my HC3 and if I open the VD in a text-editor it is really messy :) but I searched for the IRCC code for "Power" and it is the same as in my QA so at least that should work.

My TV is Android TV v7.0

    Follow the instructions on

The only thing you should need to edit in the QA is the IP and the PSK

    image.png.233da5688606c5d8ce0627db6c9d32ce.png

Ip is your TV´s IP-address and psk is the key you have set in the TV configuration, it looks like your key is set to 0000 if I look in your VD.

If it still isn´t working double check the instructions on

Yes, if you look at the example I provided. Change device ID to the ID of your QA and uibutton to the one you want to use. It is "row"_"button nr from left",   4_3 = row 4, button 3.

  • This scene turns off my lights and the last row is my TV when i run it.

My QA is 145, uibutton18_2 is power off.

Change 145 to your QA device ID and 18_2 to the button you want to press.
