Sending value to Virtual Device with the API

AlexPeret

Question

Hi to all,

Im my HC3, I've made a Quick Application (with id : 200) to store a temperature coming from a none fibaro sensor.

As my sensor is attached on a Raspberry, I can send it's value to the QA with the API /devices/{deviceID}/action/{actionName}
I guess the request I have to send from the raspberry for a value of 123 is something like :

My problem is that I don't know how to retrieve the value in LUA from a POST request. Can someone give my an exemple ?

Many thanks for your help.

Alex.

  • I answer to my question (if it can help).

    The URl requested is not the correct one, you should use : http://192.168.0.0/api/devices/200 to update the value of the 200 deviceID

    So the Curl is :

    And it can be translate in Python by :
