Zeptrion Air - wlan intermediate module - HC3

tomblo

Question

Good morning everyone.

Here in Switzerland, Feller is quite well represented company in home electrics.
Did any of you try to integrate Zeptrion Air >

into HC3?

The Feller zeptrion WLAN intermediate module has 2 channels depending on the application and connects a Feller zeptrion functional insert with a wireless network (WLAN).
This allows on the one hand the mobile remote control of Feller zeptrion with smartphones/tablets and on the other hand with the help of Feller zeptrionAIR cover sets the stationary operation of Feller zeptrionAIR scenes or timers.

The whole API (IP/WLAN) is described.
Should actually be possible to integrate the controller into HC3 or am I wrong?

wish you a wonderful day!

Hi @tomblo,

no you are not wrong. It is possible indeed.

  • I know that it is not optimal for a manufacturer to support third party devices, especially if there are own solutions in the same application area. But I think that interoperability is the key to success. I am also aware that as a non-developer I am asking a perhaps too simple question but the gap between the devices available in Fibaro and predefined devices and controlling a device via wifi is too big for me. Obviously the interface and functionality in hc2 was different in this respect when I searched for topics on the web. Can really nobody help me? I can also imagine to pay something, does that help?

But unfortunately not with my modest know-how. I can control the roller blinds via api directly with a client on mac and meanwhile I know the api calls more or less. But the integration in hc3 does not work at all. Was that easier in hc2? I never had hc2, I just bought the hc3.
