Mobile device (Android phone) not showing when building Block Scene

LeeSteventon

Question

Hi all,

I'm trying to build several alarm scenes using the graphical block builder (will be switching to LUA soon). Part of what I want to do is to receive Push Notifications on my mobile device (Android phone) but when I try to select my registered mobile device under the Notifications menu, nothing is listed.

I've checked that my phone is listed under Configuration > Access Control and can see it listed there under Mobile Device List, with a tick in the checkbox to receive notifications

I should add, that if I create a scene that is triggered by the GPS location of a mobile device, then my phone IS recognized there.....

Any ideas?

  • OK, I've been a fool! ?

You first need to create the notification you want to select to be sent in the Notifications Panel. Once you have done that, the mobile devices list becomes available in Block Scenes editor....

Not an answer to your question, maar did you found this scene for the HC2?

Ready build, with a lot of functions and languages, suitable for alarm, smoke, flood, etc.

Did you select the scene in the user access control at the bottom? (Access control, see image)

When you build a new scene this is not added automatically to a device which is not the admin

  • I'm logged in as admin (on both the console via web browser and on my mobile phone in the Fibaro app), but I have also checked other users and these are all set to access all scenes (I have 1 other user that I use)

The problem is not with accessing the scene, the problem already starts when I try to CREATE the scene. In the below, for example, I want to send a push notification that an alarm has been breached, my mobile phone does not get listed in the pop-out menu under Notifications:

I did see this scene and it's a great start to creating scenes, but it doesn't quite fit with what I'm trying to do or the way I'm trying to do it...

However, it did prompt me to check if my mobile device is even properly registered in the system with a deviceID, which it is, so I will try and send a push notification test using some Lua code..

No, Fibaro support answered my question.

No notifications setup, no. ? Seems realy stupid and obvious to me now but I'd never set this up before so had no idea.
