Confused by this device

Relaxandbecool

Question

I am hoping someone can explain this device to me, so i will try to be concise.

Setup is heat controller and separate sensor.

What am i looking at in the devices interface when i look at: ?

A) The heat controller device, advanced, and i see set point and the temperature.

B) The child temperature device connected with the heat controller in the device table.

Now, i ask this because:

In the heat controller device I see, for example, it is set to 22 degrees but in the advanced graph it shows setpoint as 24 degrees.

I have two controllers set to the same external sensor but there is no commonality in temperature readings, neither in the heat controller device nor the child devices.

Many thanks for insights. I am trying to convince myself that these devices work properly.
