How to save response data from http:request in a variable?

Question

I want to control my esphome device.

So i made simple Quickapp like this

 

the problem is this can't save response data from http:request

i want to save it in local variable.

i can see the data when i print it in call function.

but deviceData is always null

please help

Your function call(url) never return any value

because http:request(url, opts) is asynchronous
