HTTP Request to HC3

jwi

Question

How do you make an HTTP request to the HC3's API to start

a scene?

With the HC2 that was:

Please login or register to see this code.

I sent this request from my Mobotix cameras to the HC2.

Does anyone know how to solve that with the HC3?

Yes, there is nothing we can do about that. I also saw that in the Swagger and

the call worked via an RPi. But the Mobotix Cameras can only send HTTP Auth

with "user: password" and not Basic Auth.

Conversely, you can connect to the API of the Mobotix camera with Basic Auth.

Maybe I can send a request to the web server of an RPi and then send a curl

command from the RPi to the HC3?

It currently works fine with the HC2. I turn on the outside lighting via the camera's

motion detection. I'm about to give up the HC3. Why does the HC3 not accept HTTP Auth like HC2?

Nevertheless, thank you very much for your effort.

May I know what does the "alexaProhibited" means at the end? means Fibaro set it so that the scene wont show up in Alexa when we find devices/scene there? will it show up if we change it to "False"?

Hello .. I also want to try something like this. I am trying to call api to run scene but without any success. "Postman" response for request http://<ip>/api/scenes/<sceneID>/execute was Error 501 Not implemented
