Dimmer combination with double switch

I would like to combine the dimmer 2 and a double switch (potentially adding another single switch - I have 3 different lighting areas in the room). That would result in a consistent dimming experience for all the areas, and I can also switch on and off different areas.
Is something like that even possible?

I wouldn't do this. The output from the dimmer is a PWM signal and I don't think the double switch would be happy having that as a power source. Also, when dimmer is off, the double switch is disconnected from power and thus from the zwave network. 

 

A better way to achieve what you want is to use dimmers for each light (or group of lights), and use one of the S2s (connected to a physical switch) to trigger a scene, eg to toggle a group of devices on or off. Set parameter 28 for this. Alternatively you could use associations.

Then I will go with multiple dimmers.
