iOS 14.3 Automations problem

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have multiple FGBHS-213 Fibaro Single Switch at home. They mostly worked great the last year and a half since I installed them, but when I updated to iOS 14.3 in all my devices the automations which trigger my fibaro switches (for example, when I walk into the kitchen, I have a Hue Motion Sensor) stopped working. All of my other homekit devices still goes on and off in the automations but the fibaro switches stays always off. Weirdly, I can activate and deactivate them from Home app perfectly, it's just automations. Everything worked perfect under iOS 14.2 and before.

I already tried to change central from one HomePod mini to another (I have two), tried to reset everything, made again all the automations... nothing worked, Fibaro controlled lights are always off.

Any help is appreciated as it's really frustrating to have the same problem everyday.

I am able to turn on/off my Fibaro single switches with Siri and Home App on any iPhone, iPad and Apple TV but NOT with Siri on HomePod minis. 9 of 10 times the switches are not reacting when using Siri on HomePod minis.

I have the same problem - not with Homepod Mini, but with the "old" Homepod and the Apple TVs. Since tvOS/audioOS 14.2 the Fibaro Single Switches FGBHS-213 only works from time to time (80% they do NOT work). I have more than 50 Single Switches - so it is a big mess!

What can I do? Are there any updates planned?

  • 50 Single Switches? My god. I have four and it's driving me crazy because they are triggered on movement.

It would be great to know if there is any comment by Fibaro on this, if it's on Apple side or on their side...

  • Updated to iOS 14.4, automations problem still happening with HomePod Mini. Any solutions would be appreciated, I tried almost everything and it's working 1 every 10 triggers.

same for the Motion sensor. it triggers something but it takes to long to turn on the lights, if it works.

Seems that my homepod mini does or has done something with it that does not pleasure to the sensor.

Befor I had a Homepod everything was fine, the longest that it took was about 2 seconds. Even with ios 14.4.
