Smart implant outputs controlling gates well but can't monitor IN1 and NI2 to trigger a scene on HC3

Dacron

Question

Hi

I have connected a smart implant with out 1 opening both gates and out 2 opening one gate which works very well. I've connected a set of door contacts to IN1 and infra red beam switch on IN2 and would like to trigger a scene from IN1 and another scene from IN2 depending on the contacts being open or closed (gates open/closed and IR bean broken N/O or not N/C). I've isolated the IN's and OUT's in the HC 3 settings but can't figure out the settings to use IN1 and IN2 to trigger a scene, maybe this isn't possible ?

Thanks

I have the same problem. The scene doesn’t work for IN1, even if it’s not isolated-just opening the gate on OUT1.

What is more-my gate isn’t working all the time when I push „button” in the app. It’s like sometimes it works sometimes it’s not-do you have any problem with that?

  • I have managed to get it working properly with the gates opening (both gates and single gate) connected to the two outs and the two IN's connected to a contact showing when the gates are open and an infra red trigger that rings the door bell when someone comes through the gate. They work perfectly every time.

In the advanced settings for the main device turn on the two switches under local protection to allow the IN's to work separately from the OUT's then on the general tab click the required child devices under family and they will be visible in the device list. I hope this helps, sorry I'm new to HM3 myself.
