HC3 Loss of devices and version change

owen3408

Question

Hi all,

I have been working on a HC3 today, added a few devices which took the device count up to 145. I created a local backup (internet unavailable) and all was well.

I then needed to relocate the HC3, when it booted I was missing a lot of the devices, my total was now 78.

Had a look at my last backup which shows 145 devices and version 5.040.

The HCL is showing as being on version 5.031.

I have had a look in recovery mode and both system A and B both show as version 5.031. System B was running so I switched to system A.

Still only shows the 78 devices, so I then tried to 'update and restore' to the latest backup. Once this had finished the HC3 still showed as version 5.031 and 78 devices.....

Has anyone else been through this scenario and what was the fix if any?

Thanks ?

HC3 have a two sides of platter :) Side A and Side B.

if HC3 can`t booting from Side A it trying to booting from Side B and vice versa

so, probably your HC3 can`t booting and booting with old version via side B.

just click - recover mode / booting in recover mode / switch the current side to "A" and reboot again.

i hope it can solve your issue.
