Slider

Question

Hi i am trying to control my garage door with the fgs 214 single smart module, i am using a 24v input connected + to "L" and "IN" and the - from the adapter to N. since i have a hormann supramatic garage door its possible to connect a push buttons switch ( + & - contact ) the pushwire +wire from the hormann i connected to "Q" and the - to N from the adapter.

but i am stuck and its not working - anyone knows how to configure this, i also tried below figures didnt work either.

Good Morning

If I look at the picture, it is so that you can do several things with 2 wires.
1. Open and close the garage door
2. Lights on and off
3. Lock everything
If I interpret that correctly.
This indicates a coding because otherwise something like that does not work with 2 wires.
It could be resistance coding or frequency superposition.
But you picked a strange thing.
The manufacturer wants to save money and earn as much as possible by selling accessories.
Without the internal circuitry of the "PB3", "IT3b", "IT1b" you will not be able to do anything.
The pretense of a normal button in Figure 12 is very misleading.
The connections on the other connection pictures say something completely different.
You will probably have to call support or examine the accessories that are probably supplied (dismantling).
Without specialist knowledge you will not get any further.
Greetings Frank

Guten Morgen

    No no !!
That only makes a short circuit, to explain that you need some specialist knowledge.
    So it would be possible.
But without a circuit diagram of the device, that's just a guess.
Better ask a specialist on site who will take a look at it.
This requires a little more knowledge than hobbyist knowledge.

Send me the manual as a pdf, I'll have a look at it.

I use the same wiring for my Hormann garagedoor and an older type Fibaro relay switch. ( FGS 212 )

It's working fine. I used the (dutch) description on the Robbshop site. See

Please login or register to see this link.

Important was to set the module in pulse mode. For me that was to set parameter 4 to 1 sec pulse time.

    Good Morning

The one-wire interface only confused me; you could think so on the pictures taken from the context.
So it has to go like that in the article by @Alex de Bruin.
    Just like that !

    Hi @Slider

Can you share a little bit more what you connected and where to get it work?

I also have the Supramatic E4 and FGS-214.

    I've tried to connect:

    • Red wire (24v) to the IN Fibaro input,
    • Black wire (-) to Q Fibaro output.

But I'm not able to start pairing procedure with Fibaro HC3.

    Anything else is required?
