Unable to turn OFF light with wall switch (dimmer2)

kevin

Question

Hi,

Since today I suddenly cannot turn OFF the lights by using the wall switch, the lights and wall switch are connected to the same Fibaro Dimmer 2 module. It is the room of my 6 year old son, he would like to be able to switch off the light when going to bed.

I can turn off the lights by:

- Using the app

- Using other wall switch with dimmer 2 thanks to association

- Using a scene

Strangely I only cannot turn off the lights by using the connected wall switch, but I can turn it on with the same wall switch ?

What have I tried so far:

- Reboot HC2

- Soft reconfigure device

- Reconfigure device

- Recalibrate

- Excluded the dimmer 2 and included it later

- Reconnected the wires to the wall switch and dimmer 2 module

General information:

Type of wall switch: momentary switch (using S1 only)

Module: Fibaro Dimmer 2 version 3.5

Lights: Two dimmable Philips light bulbs of 15watt each

Controller: Home Center 2 version 4.600

Errors: none

Any suggestions left after trying all the above?

Thank you in advance.

Kevin

Did you recalibrate the dimmer and checked its settings? Any error notifications in hc2? Did you try other loads?

Were you able to solve this? I have two Dimmer 2 that have started behaving like this the past days, after working flawlessly for several years.

    Edit: I’m using HC3.
