Fibaro, what's going on with you?

ggrizliv

Question

Fibaro, what's going on with you? HC3 Lite?!? Why you realise such limited hub? Come on.. HC lite for small installation, ok, but HC3 lite? 1 MJPG cam? Only 20 scenes? come on!

This hub is totaly doomed to failure. Why you not just update and support what you promise on HC3 on start? You were best until 2016, but now you lost on all line to competitors.... sad... i'm very disappointed and i'm not alone...

the only HC3L / Yubii limitation is the person in front of the monitor, i can perfectly code 10 scenes to covery 625416 block scenes, and two QuickApp to replace 213 of other simple QAs. So yes, limitation, for those who simply click together or import things, to let them still have nice experience. For those who know how to code complx things, the only limitation is memory (or imagination)

you can't compare zwave devices with cheap zigbee devices.

is it an irony? like you cannot compare expensive windows with cheap linux?

zigbee devices are cheap i.e. because there're chines companies like Tuya producing devices+sdk and allow third party companies put theirs logo.

@Arek R.

Not irony

biggest disadvantage is:

every certified zwave device will work on a certified controller, zigbee is not

i have several zigbee devices that only work on there own zigbee controller.

Yes, that's correct, this why I still consider to go into z-wave though had been ready to buy hubitat (actually it's more about power consumption graph/stats fibaro hcl provides) but per see a zigbee device is not worse than z-wave one but 3x cheaper. I'd like to buy 10+ wall plugs so the price becomes an important factor.

Yet regarding standards, fibaro wall plugs have bad opinion here just wondering if aotec wall plugs with support for power consumption should play well with hcl3? In another thread there's a statement it doesn't work

@Arek R.

I tested one for you

it works, only....

there is an extra device that does nothing, with that you can only switch it off, not on

the other 3 devices works as it should

@m.roszak can you test and tell us what the reason is for the fourth device?
