is it even possible wifi or bluetooth control thermostats "heat controller" without the homecenter?

SmartGuy

Question

So i bought a "Starter" pack of the fibaro thermostats "heat controllers" in the thought i could use it as is, with a simple setup thru my wifi with an fibro app or something like that. But now it seems i have to ALSO BUY and homecenter to control em...so in a scene it's not a starter pack!? Now that i can't connect to them as is....without i need to buy a homecenter too or what ?!?!

What the heck do i need to control em wirelessly?

i have a a wifi setup in my home with philips hue gateway and also a zigbee gateway with use Z-wave i think... and i thought i could use those "hubs" to connect the heat controller to? but no matter what i do i can't get anything to find the thermostats.

Can't even use the smartthings app to find it as it says every time i need a "hub" cant use the android app FIBARO HOME as it needs a smartcenter installed??... i use all my lights and tv etc. thru those other gateways i got. SO WHY CAN'T I USE ONE OF THOSE TO CONNECT TO IT?.... or even a simple android app to control em with bluetooth?

Regards

Soon a very unhappy customer

There are 2 versions of this product, Z-Wave and Apple HomeKit.
Z-Wave version can be controlled by any Z-Wave certified hub (with support of hvac devices), HomeKit version can be only controlled by the Apple device using for example "Home" App (or a hub which utilizes HomeKit bridge).
