I have a Doorbell G4, but not yet a chime, I was wondering if there would be any solution where e.g. a Fibaro Smart Implant could act like a chime?

The power supply for the Unifi Doorbell G4 is 20VAC, and it is made as possible to connect to an existing chime, my idea is to connect the Smart Implant in between like a chime, if it is able to be powered by the 20VAC or accept the 20VAC as input?

    Anyone tried something like that?

Also still looking for a way to connect the doorbell, smart implant is not working because it needs DC instead of AC.
i did some measuremants and when you ring the bell there is a power change of +- 0.15 v AC.

So is there a quickapp what is working with the UDM-Pro (single site so no site number) to get a trigger when some one rings the doorbell?

It's been a while, but last week i finished my unifi protect setup. Since there is no easy work around for the HC3,

i installed a HA test setup. Just to see how it would work out. It seems it's a pretty easy setup for home assistant.

There is a protect plugin, the doorbell comes up as a binary switch and you can bind any function to the trigger.

Any other device connected to protect is usable, even it shows the rtsps stream.

I'd love to integrate this into the HC3. I cant, but maybe someone else has already a working solution ?
