  • tinman, it's not a photoshop!

    just key F12

    open "Console" and key:

fbddqd - to enable Zigbee, RF 433, etc

fbdkfa - to enable a preview mode "Build 5.777" where known issues and bug fixes have been applied

Let's hope that that alpha transforms to beta soon and to stable. We bought HC3 also for Zigbee

about this... What would we be able to do with NICE protocol? Will we be able to integrate any RF 433 remote?

The issue with ZigBee is that Fibaro has not finished the certification. Why? I don't know. They have had a long time to work with it. The HC3 have been out for about a year, and how long had it been in planning and development before release? 1-2 years? They knew ZigBee would be an integral part of the HC3, and after at least two years certifications are still not done...

When I see fibaro unit prices like relays or switches and its zigbee alternatives then the answer may be a little more clear.

I wouldn't open zigbee in my product just to lower sells on the other because customers could by cheaper zigbee relays or any other units.

So true. However, nothing is stopping Fibaro from making their own ZigBee units.

So true, also hundreds or thousands ppl got hc3 for the zigbee support. Now on fibaro hc3 site reviewing the specifications, zigbee is not mentioned at all. Btw the zigbee module shown in ip/cgi-bin/firmwares.sh was implemented on last firmware or was always there?
