So true, also hundreds or thousands ppl got hc3 for the zigbee support. Now on fibaro hc3 site reviewing the specifications, zigbee is not mentioned at all. Btw the zigbee module shown in ip/cgi-bin/firmwares.sh was implemented on last firmware or was always there?

The issue is that Fibaro haven't gone through the certification, so I guess they can't activate the features. Why on earth they haven't done the certification yet is beyond my knowledge. They have had a long time finishing it.

Why do You think certification is needed to enable zigbee hub in hc3? Aquara or xiaomi does not seem to be certificated but still uses zigbee.

That was the answer I got from support anyway at February 11.

"We are working on certifications for the ZigBee, but still, no official date realizing it :("

sure, you can use without certification, but there is no functionality warranty at all from Aquara

Answer from support is an official statement and those won't fit to the source of truth sometimes.

As for warranty of Chinese toys - this may be a business model, to be cheap and replaceable rather than supported. Ikea Tradfi wasn't certificated at first but had a warranty.

It is what it is - I have no other information. I haven't been in contact with support after that.

Yubii !

No problem, I didn't change the name, I changed my  gateway to the Hubitat Elevation C7: works perfectly with z-wave and Zigbee and Wifi,  superb community, self-developed graphs on anything you want and in any shape or form or color you want (all without Grafana or whatever and transfer of data), huge z-wave and Zigbee range. A dream come true.

1 year later, Zigbee is there but still doesn’t work as it should be … sad 😢
