GSM autodialer or alternative

JoeFibaro

Question

Does anyone have experience with a GSM voice autodialer?

Or maybe there's another option to be informed in case of emergencies (burglar, fire, disconnect alarm) without using push or email messages?

Push messages would be a good option, but you cannot fully trust on it, and sometimes the delay is too long.

So I was thinking to buy a cheap GSM voice autodialer with NC/NO trigger inputs and connect for example some smart implants to trigger different emergencies.

I'm curious how you guys think about this?

I use Telegram besides my push msg!

Telegram is more reliable.

It does have battery backup (and send alarm if on battery, via clip call or sms), one can easily connect e.g. smart implant to it.

    Thanks,

I know its additional security, that's why I was thinking about a gsm dialer, then you can also get a message/call when internet is down and you're not depended on it, its also faster and it's easier to miss a message than a phone call.
