HRC-90 Wall remote control - how to avoid making a scene for each button?

JeroenL

Question

Dear all,

Just bought a ZRC-90 remote control as an addition for my HC3.

It works, added fine, I just noticed that for every button I have to create a scene. It does not allow you to link directly to a device and turn it on/off. At least I have not found it.

Before creating 16 additional scenes ( 8 buttons on/off etc.), is there a more clever way to this?

Thanks for your idea's.

Jeroen

Hi @JeroenL.

I created a single LUA scene with all the possibilities, of the remote.

So button 1 pushed once/twice/held/released.

Did this for all the buttons.

Then in the action field i use "sourcetrigger" to check wich button was pressed and with action should occur.

If this is the most cleer way I don't know but it works for me.

@zebra132

First, create some value that you want to help the buttons control.
Once you have defined the first scene and some of these buttons in it, these actions will be written in the Advance section.
