What I am struggling with, is that most of the times when there are updates new, and not small, issues arise.

Based on this, if Fibaro ever wants to make a fist against google Home, Alexa, Vera, Zipato, Mi Home etc, I do really think that Fibaro as a firm should step up its game, and prioritize stable software development on their ecosystem.

Lastly: I am a big fan of Fibaro, and that is exactly why I would like to see that Fibaro acts on issues ;).  It would be nice if a Fibaro person could respond on this.

While my HC2 and HC3 are powered off and I use another home automation system, I come here and read and occasionally write. I do like Fibaro products, generally. I've been in the computer industry my whole life, and learned some lessons - I use whatever tool I need to complete my objective. The company name does not matter. Fibaro have been helpful to me, and I've also helped them (translations for the HC3 firmware). But, what kept bugging me is that it was sold without the features it was announced to have. I was patient while irritated, and still long, long after the release, we don't have ZigBee. Because of that, I had to start using another smart home solution that helps me accomplish what I want. And it have exceeded my expectations.

While Fibaro have good people, there seem to have been/still is(?) company changes. So my guess is they are struggling to follow the changes, and I also think the development team have had too few people all these years. Too few developers coupled with too small a testing team (if there is one at all), will result in a lot of bugs, often serious. With this price setting of their hardware, I certainly would expect the product to be feature finished at release, and then regularly updated to stay competitive. The HC3 was released at a very early beta, with announced features missing completely (and still missing). That might be ok with an open source product with devs working on things at their spare time as they like. But in my humble opinion, it is by no means acceptable for a premium product made by one of the larger companies in home automation.

I do hope the HC3 will be good someday, and have the announced features. But it is way too late, at least for me.
