Dimmer 2 with dimmable LED strip (with electronic transformers AC to DC 12V)

i try to use the Dimmer 2 to control DC 12V dimmable LTE strip light, but from what i understand that Dimmer 2 need 100V ~ 240V AC power supply.

the thing i confused is that the manuals shows it is passable to work on DC 12V LED light

could anyone help me to understand how to make this works, many thanks

If your transformer (230 to 12V) is dimmable, then connect the Dimmer2 to it as shown in the manual.
But if your transformer is not dimmable (not everyone is), then it is an RGBW-Controller that you should have, and then you can regulate 4 separate white LED strips with it (or one color LED).
