Fibaro FGMS-001

Bips

Question

Hi,

Im trying to add a Fibaro FGMS-001 to my Homecenter 2 network.

After putting the sensor into discovery mode, it just doesnt get picked up by my Home Center 2.

Have tried to reset it and add, but still same problem.

On the box it has France logo on it, made by Resale Components.

I thought all Z wave devices are comptatiable.

Could this be the issue, or anyone managed to add one of these?

Regards

Bipen

Hi @Bips,

Please, check if it has Z-wave Plus log on itself or catalog code is FGMS-001. If it does not have Z-Wave logo and catalog number is FGBHMS-001, then you have HomeKit version of the device.

If you confirm it is FGMS-001 (with Z-Wave logo or catalog code) then please try to do exclusion first. It works even if device is not part of your Z-Wave network.

Regards,

Jakub

Removing the device and adding it has worked.

    It is a FGMS-001
