input - timing between onclick and hold

naboo

Question

this is continuation of this

Please login or register to see this link.

but problem is now different so I'm setting up a new post)

current config:

- IN1 set as monostabile

- IN1 triggers OUT1

- IN1 1click/2clicks/release/hold trigger scene triggering OUT1

in this configuration following scenarios work correctly

- 1 short click

- button held until OUT2 is triggered (aprox. 4-5s)

but when I hold the button for arround 2s and then release it, nothing happens :(( - so it's not a short press nor a hold

strangely, I'm expecting releasing button would trigger OUT2 but it doesn't

I can't see any param responsible for this timing, or maybe I'm blind?

anybody?

  • I solve my problem switching IN1 to bistable switch. Now pressing button on my external wicket intercom OUT2 is triggered right away - that's great, but there is ofcourse a new problem now :D

pressing and releasing the button too quickly (similarly to 1 short click in monostable config) triggers OUT2 but too short to pass the signal to homebridge and as a result I'm not getting notification on my phone.

I'm going to solve the new problem by adding timer switch to my setup between button and IN1 from smart implant. This way I'll be able to control time on IN1 being shortened.

Another solution would be some parameter what would control time IN1/IN2 is held when triggered (e.g. IN1/IN2 hold time) in bistable configuration.
