How to reset a flood alarm?

Theo

Question

As a test I forced a flood sensor on the universal binary sensor paired to a HC2.

The only way I could find to reset this alarm is to change the type of sensor to something else (door/window). In the alarm panel I found no entries for this sensor.

Also, in the Yubii app this alarm was noted, without anay method of getting details.

Did I mis something during configuration?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Theo ,

I use Fibaro flood sensors and once they detect water, alarm can be reset by removing them from water and drying their contacts. Didn't try that one with UBS, but I believe is the same. To have actions like e.g. sending notifications and closing water valve etc. you need scene that will do that. example of code for HC2 you can find here:
