Dimmer 2 Unable to switch light off using toggle switch

bluesti

Question

Hello

Have read similar posts regarding this problem, but nothing seemed clear as to a resolution. I did read that you can change a parameter #20 value to toggle, but I couldn't find it.

Pairing the Dimmer was near impossible, so used the generic Z-Wave device option and it paired as a dimmer.

Now the 4 led's turn on and off using Vera app, but I can't switch the lights on or off using the wall toggle switch and I can't even switch lights off once they're on when switched on via the app.

Do I need the bypass?

If not, can you help with a solution?

My wiring is shown in the attachment.

Thank you

John

I think your problem is using the generic dimmer template. You should start by properly including the device.  Ensure that the device is located within one metre of you controller and try again to pair it.

Then you can check the parameters.

Bypass is needed if your load is below 50w.

    Did my wiring look OK?

I can't comment on your wiring. If you aren't confident with that you should get an electrician to check ?
